About Me

My name is Katie and I live on a hobby farm in Canada with my husband, two children, and several animals, including between 20-30 chickens. We raise our chickens for eggs that we either eat ourselves or sell to people in our community. This site is my attempt to educate others who wish to raise their own backyard chickens.
